Once you have installed the TaskReviewer extension on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, or accessed the Web App you will be able create reviews of media assets for your team to give feedback on and approve.
NOTE: There are two different Chrome Extensions available in the Chrome Store, depending on whether or not you are using a custom domain with your Teamwork account or not.
Once you have installed and logged in to the extension successfully it is time to create your first review!
To create a review, first add a file(s) to a task
Once the file is uploaded, when you open the task details, you will now see an option to Create Review on the right hand side of the page
Clicking on Create Review will open review stages at the bottom of the page.
By default a first stage called Internal Review is created. This can be edited as you wish.
You can also add further stages for review.
Once you are ready you can drag-and-drop your file(s) into the stage that you would like them to be in, and assign reviewers.
NOTE: as a review creator you will be able to see the review, but in order to give feedback / approval you need to assign yourself as a reviewer.
Your file is now ready to be reviewed and get feedback!
To start to review the file, click on Open Review and you will be able to comment, annotate and give feedback on the file. If you are happy with the file, click on Approve.
If changes need to be made, make comments and annotations, and click on Request Changes
You will now see updated details in the review stage overview showing that there are changes required
Once changes to the file have been made a new version can be uploaded and the review process will be refreshed. If you you need to see previous versions, you can do this by comparing files in review.
