You can install Chrome Web Store extensions on the newest version of Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, and here's how to do it.

How to install Chrome extensions on Microsoft Edge

Edge now includes support for extensions from the Google Chrome Web Store, but you need to enable the feature before you can install extensions. Here’s how!:

Enabling Chrome extension support

Option 1 (Recommended)

  1. Open Chrome Web Store website.

  2. You will see a dialog box at the top of the page asking if you wish to Microsoft Edge to be able to install extensions from other web stores - Click yes and enable this!

  3. Search for the Task Reviewer Chrome extension that you want to install on Microsoft Edge. (We have 2 one for standard Teamwork accounts and a Task Reviewer for Custom Domains  extension, for companies that are using custom domains).

  4. Click the Add to Chrome button.

  5. Click the Add extension button.

Once you complete the steps, the extension should download and install automatically on the Edge browser just like in Google Chrome.

Option 2 (Alternative)

To enable Chrome extension support on the Chromium Edge browser, use these steps before visiting the Chrome Web Store:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the Settings and more (three-dots) button in the top-right.

  3. Select the Extensions option.

  4. Turn on the Allow extensions from other stores toggle switch.

  5. Click the Allow button.

After completing the steps, you can use the Chrome Web Store to TaskReviewer for Teamwork.
